It finally happened

So I’ve been avoiding anything that makes me think of my OTP because I know I’d dive facefirst back into them and well oops I’m eyeballs-deep in my cara x kahlan feels They’re so perfect?? So compelling and full of depth. So captivating? Together they bring the world to its knees. And damn dude, my fic for them is GOOD, okay. Their dynamic in it? Yes. Plot I have? Yes. God patheon I made for it? Fucking yes. Plans for Denna? Spectacular. I am so excited, she is one of the most challenging characters I have ever written. Plans for Nicci? My god. I could die. Suddenly I don’t feel that weary vibe at the thought of writing, like it’s a chore. Like my excitement will dissipate once I sit down to write. Goddamn my fic just needs a light edit but it’s one of the best things I have ever written. I cannot wait to continue it oh my god I don’t know if the views it still gets are people lingering in the fandom or just looking through my shit but it doesn’t even matter. The way I write for them is so wildly different than what I’ve been doing lately and like, I miss that part of me, I miss that challenge, that ease. God dude this basic, dialogue-driven writing with Easy Times has gotten to the point I hate the way I compose every sentence I’m fucking sick of everything I write the moment I write it I know it sounds like I’m bailing on everything else but I’m not, I just. I just.

Always. I am also dying. Plus things got and are getting delayed because my wicked cold turned into tonsillitis.

First, some recs in case you aren’t reading them. BeastlyRedemption is writing some good Rose/Bella stuff, but usually fucking sad dude, but I adore their style. Sporadic updates. xPaigeTurnerx has Aconitum going on and it’s gold. Bella is so quirky it hurts. It’s wayy better than my garbage, Idk why you’re reading me, man. Updates when she can/feels like it. @ultward is writing Addiction and it’s different, I like it.

You know, sometimes I think about linking my doc listing prompts and ideas for oneshots, but I kind of like surprising ya’ll and I just, I dunno. But anyway. As I open said doc…

So, decided to push Black Star’s update to a month so I can get caught up and not stress and can work on my novel enough. I know, but you guys will be okay because there will be oneshots in that time. As for said oneshots, out of the like dozen I have listed, I’ll probably do:

Rosalie, better than anyone, understood the appeal of Bella Swan. She also knew Bella had past girlfriends. She could deal with that. But what she didn’t prepare for was the knowledge of the various flings in between them.
