Please enjoy these pictures of my dog enjoying his birthday cake.
I'm in the middle of a week off, spending quality time with my dog. He's been my companion for 12 years, with me through mental breakdowns, physical breakdowns, and every other bump in the road. For years now he's been valiantoy fighting degenerative myelopathy - a happy, little, disabled dog to help a less happy disabled person keep going - but the final stage of progression has finally begun. The disease has started affecting his lungs and in just a couple of weeks I'll be putting him to sleep. He's still so happy but he's just so tired and I know that this is the best thing for him, to let him go before it just turns into making him suffer for me.
So give your pets extra love and tell them it's from Captain Cornelius of the Knights Corglar and he sends you extra spoons.
wish i could have caught a picture of the absolute joy and excitement that overcame my dog when i took off his collar this morning to attach his halloween bandana. it’s the happiest he’s ever been to have his collar put back on.
Neither Cory nor I are feeling all too well today so when I needed to go pick up some paperwork from my parents, I took the pup along for a little adventure. He wore himself right out.
halloween + star wars + puppy bandana = yes good
Treats? You moved treats. I get treats?
He got stuck in the brush while I was picking blackberries.
