DM: There are two jousting brackets much like the rest of the faire, a townsfolk league and a professional league. In the advanced bracket there are the three of you, a number of other adventurers, Dorphi and, surprisingly, Emperor Cherish, your footman 15-C, a few random guards... and Captain Frogcheeks.
M (playing Kjell): *face in hands* Nooo. I knew it.
Tati (playing Seraph): *silly voice* "Hello Kjell. Ready your pole."
M: *groans* Nooo.
DM: With the way the bracket has fallen, Kjell, the only way you can face him is in the final.
Adam (playing Billie): Thaddeus, let's throw it.
Hamish (playing Thaddeus): Agreed. It would be worth it to make Kjell face Frogcheeks.
