Ok so it turns out the art block was just stress from Finals cause even tho I still have yet to recieve my final scores for the Semester, I’ve gotten pretty much all of the super stressful finals out of the way and magically my hand decided to start working again
So yeah heres my take on the couple from the Captain Gore storyline. In my Haunted Mansion HC/AU, Bartholomew and Pricsilla are Master Gracey’s parents (I’ll explain the context of that some other time in another drawing I have planned but yeah). But yeah I’m really happy with how this one turned out
Haunt that narrative girl who never made it out of concept art but fragments of her story are still ever present in the ride to this day.

What are your feelings on Captain Gore?
"Full of disgust. He murdered his innocent bride, after all. I've got no use for the man. His ex-wife, Priscilla, however, is lovely. She was one of the first spirits I met in the mansion, back when I was alive."
The Legend of Captain Gore
The Haunted Mansion’s first story was about the wicked Captain Gore and his bride, Priscilla. Beauregard the Butler would have been the guests tour guide throughout the mansion.
The first stop of the tour was the Picture Gallery. Here Beauregard would explain that Captain Bartholomew Gore (or Captain Gideon Gorelieu in some versions) married Priscilla in 1810 and brought her to the mansion to live. As he gestured to a portrait of Captain Gore, hairy hands would have emerged from a hidden panel in the wall and attempt to grab Beauregard.
Next, Beauregard would take guests to a room with department store like window displays that would be illuminated and animated before fading to black as guests walked by. The scenes would show Priscilla breaking into an old treasure chest and discovering that her husband was the dreaded pirate, Black Bart! A scream would be heard as the room went dark.
Beauregard would go on to explain to the guests that Priscilla was never seen again and Captain Gore never knew a night of peace after that. It seemed as if a certain spirit haunted Captain Gore to the point where he was driven to take his own life by hanging himself from the rafters in the attic.
There were a couple of different versions of how Priscilla was murdered. In one chilling version, the guests would pass a well as they left the mansion. Inscribed on the wall it would read “Ding Dong Dell, Priscilla’s in the well. Who threw her in? The wicked cap-a-tain!”
Dark water would be bubbling in the well for those who looked and Beauregard would leave the guests with a final goodbye, “And about the color of the water- maybe it’s the reflection of the sun, but by an odd coincidence, it’s blood red.”
