why is no one talking about the fact that Villads says his left eye was taken by a flock of mutinous seagulls? You can't mutiny if you weren't part of the crew, that would just be an attack. Villads had a crew of SEAGULLS.

hello people, kind of forgot about this today ngl but

Day 4

Villads, Ruth and Berto

Ruth is a blacksmith and also a part time animal rescuer

She mostly finds injured animals, gets them to the vet and sometimes takes them home for their recovery before letting them go again or finding them a home

But. One day that one parrot got to her and she decided to keep him

She named him 'Roberto', but Villads would constantly call him 'Berto', so that stuck

Ruth has made both of Villads' eyepatches

Ruth is the one who first braided Villads' beard and she does so every time he leaves home for good luck

Ruth might not enjoy sailing that much, but if it is a small trip that will make Villads happy she's on board(both metaphorically and literally)

Who would have thought that Captain Villads and Viren have something in common

Their dislike for seagulls

Considering how much Villads' advice stuck with her ("Look at yourself, Rayla" ... "But what you said, it was beautiful!") it makes perfect, if sweet, sense that she'd be so happy to see that old pirate again <3
