Adoring the fact that the Sunfire Royal family now consists of the reigning monarch, Queen Janai, her wife, General and now Queen Amaya, Amaya’s interpreter and best friend, Gren, Amaya’s nephews, the King of Katolis and the ex-High Mage (and his girlfriend Rayla and the extended moonfam if you want to make it extra complicated), and the King of Katolis’s brother, the Last Archdragon, soon to be Dragon King, Janai and Amaya’s sister-in-law Miyana who betrayed them and led an army against them on their wedding day, Karim and Miyana’s kids, and a blood drinking moonshadow elf who is magically bound to the family on pain of death
Headcanon:
The first people who notice Corvus' crush on Soren are Gren and Amaya.
They knew that boy very well.
So when they saw Corvus forcedly smile at Soren's bad jokes, they know he was down bad. Vary bad.
I imagine them gossiping about them (Janai is included in the gossip)
Thinking about how The Dragon Prince is simultaneously about the cycle of violence in the world and ending generational trauma and also about the relationships between parents and children and also about the process of grief and making peace with various forms of loss both personal and cultural and growing something new out of the ashes and also every possible form of love
