Time for something new! A character profile from Scootaloo's Scootaquest. I receive many requests from viewers and fans who want to know more about the characters you see in your favorite Ponies:The Series episodes! Since I can't get enough backstory in a episode, nor produce them fast enough, enjoy this little tidbit backstory on some of your favorite characters! If this goes over well, expect more! Captain Clarity. Some of you may remember her in episode 21 of Scootaloo's Scootaquest in her exchange with Sergeant Brass. She pretty much said she didn't want to risk sending her officers to Ponyville to help round up sick citizens. Some paeople found her kind of a jerk, while many messages I got said she was "brilliantly designed," and "I love her design, share more about her!" Captain Clarity is a member of the Cloudsdale Police Department, and a Captain to the specific unit, Sky Patrol. It is a special branch unit that focuses on aerial patrols of the city. Some people noticed that and wondered why she didn't just fly over the city. Don't have a good answer other then she didn't want too. Her character is brave though, and she is a strong leader, but not without her errors. In the original concept of the story, she was even going to flirt with Sergeant Brass a bit, though she was made to be more serious. With that in mind, Captain Clarity, or Clarity Skies, is a single mare, and young. She is the youngest ranking female officer of rank in the Cloudsdale Police Department. I didn't have a whole lot more about her character when I wrote up her little bio. In Cloudsdale she does have a police partner who is equally as competitive as her. Yes, thats right, she's very competitive. Other then that, I didn't write anything about her partner, who is a male.
