last year one of my fourth graders re-wrote harry potter, but voldemort was a three headed dragon called babaganesh. babaganesh's end goal was to destroy the world and reclaim the earth for dragon-kind. he would share his weekly chapter updates during read aloud and it became like, semi-famous amongst all the students

so this was from when i asked u guys to send me the most embarrassing fics u’ve wrote, and um, excuse me, u didn’t follow the rules. this is clearly the Best Fic

you've started a gorgeous slow burn with Discards, and I am forever excited to read your updates! you've created realistic conflict with the circumstances the characters are in, and I am incredibly anxious to know how they struggle with and overcome things. please keep writing! your voice and story is beautiful.

Thank you! Knowing that there are fics out there hundreds of thousands of words long, I wasn’t sure whether this actually qualified as “slow burn”. I hope you enjoy the second half!
