Wait I got another one: Steggy + your favorite AU

Hello Jim! I'm your Steggy Secret Santa! So I don't really have a favorite AU so I made an Excel sheet with every AU and went one by one with ideas for each one until something clicked.

I present to you a Bodyguard / Mafia AU. Ok, hear me out. This is very cliché, basic and I can't write. 

The idea is that Steve is living with his mom in Brooklyn she gets sick, she needs surgery, but they can't afford it, one thing leads to the other and he becomes a Mafia Associate so he can pay for the surgery.

Peggy is the daughter of the Don, she hates the Mafia and wants nothing to do with them. Both she and Steve are like 22 ish. She is studying at a university (maybe law and maybe volunteers at the same hospital where Sarah works for story reasons) and Michael works for their father when an opposing Mafia makes a threat on both of their lives. So Don decides to have one of his associates protect Peggy who is Steve.  

They instantly don't like each other. Peggy doesn't like him because he is in the Mafia and Steve doesn't like her because he thinks she is a spoiled college girl. 

Their day-to-day is pretty much how much they can annoy each other. (Maybe you can add here that Sarah is complaining that she never sees her son anymore so he brings Peggy to his mom's and that's how Steve learns she volunteers there because she hasn't been there since the threat. They say to Sarah that Peggy's father hired him because a creep at uni or an ex scared her or something. After that Peggy learns why Steve joined the Mafia). They start to like each other more after that.

One day a guy tries to attack Peggy, maybe with a knife, they run away but Steve gets hurt. Peggy is really shaken by that.

She takes care of him while he recovers and well they were sharing a bed and here we are.

Whats your unpopular Steggy headcanon?

Hmm this is a really good question!! I'm not super out there with my headcanons, for the most part im like ,, Peggy is the awesome director of Shield and Steve is the cutesy house husband. But I feel like most people tend to assume they got married really quickly after he came home, like almost immediately. In my head they waited a little bit! So that they could tell whoever they wanted that Steve was back first and have everyone at the wedding and Peggy wouldn't have to hide her wedding ring. If he came back in fall 1949 I'd put their wedding maybe like,, early/spring '51?

Omg I just thought of another one 5 minutes after I posted this skdjks I also don't see Steve using any pet names for Peggy other than "Peg" and idrk why but ! I think she calls him "(my) darling" and "(my) love" but personally for some reason I can't imagine Steve calling her any other pet names

Peggy/Steve + baseball AU  for @captainjimothycarter

Peggy’s not a fan of baseball in general, she’s not even that interested in it. She is, however, greatly interested and involved in her niece’s Little League passion. To the point of being very cross with every coach who turned out toxic, or otherwise useless. When Sharon informs her a new coach took over their team, Peggy is ready to arm up. Unnecessarily, as it turns out. Steve Rogers is wonderful with kids, doesn’t spend half of his time flirting with moms (much to some of the ladies’ disappointment) and proves to be really good at his job. Clueless about Steve’s professional background, Peggy is shocked to one day find herself all over social media when a photo of her helping Steve out in late hours after kid’s practice nearly breaks the internet.

When Agent Carter S2 came out, I wanted to change my url to reflect how significant that fandom was to me (and my blog) while keeping a reference to the Carmilla fandom (my "original" tumblr fandom), so I came up with agentkarnstein.

In 2019 I decided to standardize my usernames across different platforms, and I didn't want anything fandom-specific, so I settled on agentmintea ('mintea' being a funky way to spell my name) for ✨aesthetic✨ reasons as well as username availability reasons. I still think of the 'agent' as a subtle nod to Peggy Carter (my beloved) and it lets me feel like people are calling me by a code name :)
