Can we just talk about this scene for a minute?
The fact that Killian loves her so much that he double checks, hell probably even triple checks that she wants to fight the hooded figure shows how much he loves her.
The face she makes at him is a "it's all going to be okay", but it might not be, and that's what Killian is worried about.
God, I mean you can read him like a book. He loves her so much, it's all shown in a little head nod to the ground, still with direct eye contact at her, probably loving her like he's never loved before and waiting for her to smile back, one of her Emma smiles or Emma laughs which he's not heard before.
All she wants is a smile of his, telling her it'll be okay and she'll be fine, but she can't find that, so what she does is try and pretend it'll be okay, but when really, it might not be.
And that's what's killing them.
It's all in their eyes.
That's why Captain Swan have, and never will love like anyone else ever has.
That's why they are a canon ship.
