There was once two moths who went into hibernation. One made a cocoon with black lace and red lining and the other made one with black fishnet and Invader Zim patterned lining. But they still weren't happy.
And so the moths retired to a corner of Mia Greedlingjoy's bedroom. For weeks they drowned in aesthetics and fell to the floor crying and left mothballs in all her favorite sweaters, but no matter how many holes they left in the fabric they could not fill the holes in their hearts.
They listened to Mia's dog eating sheets for as long as they could stand, until the bigger of the two moths couldn't stand it and flew into the porch light, crying limpid tears of blood.
The smaller looked at teh corpse and cried a sweater of tears and it was not enough. It seemed nothing would bring him out of his sorrow. Until...
"You," the moth said. You was the name of the bigger moth who was coming back to life, Hail Stan!. You wore all black amd the moth felt like a true goth at last.
