“You do what for a living?” Anakin turned back to Han once both his wife and daughter left the living room. He was cornering the man but that was the point of this dinner anyway, wasn’t it? They were vetting Leia’s boyfriend, or potential boyfriend as Anakin liked to think of it. “I just want to be sure I caught that correctly when Leia said it.” He was being far sassier than need be and he knew Padmé would chew him out for it.

The moment Rose told him she was pregnant, Luke almost fainted. Sure he thought maybe one day he would have kids, but never did he think it would be so soon after he started his Jedi Academy. Well atleast now his nephew Ben would have someone to play with and wouldn’t be so alone. But Luke knew nothing about raising an infant. He knew how to handle children, of course, but infants were a whole different ball game. And there was only one person he could really relate to about this whole situation.

And it was the same man who didn’t even know Luke had been seeing Rose in the first place.

“Hey Han, uh, can I talk to you for a second...” Luke asked the man, leaning up against the Falcon as Han was cleaning it up. “It’s kinda important...”
