Astrophytum caput-medusae Grafted this up as a seedling and every year it pops out a few flowers from it tubercles...tentacles...whatever :D

March 14, 2015 - the other day, I bought some fishing line in preparation for mounting my staghorn fern but I remembered I had additional uses for the fishing line - hanging my glass air plant orbs! I hung the orbs right by my bathroom window. I could almost hear the air plants arguing over which ones would get to sit in them. After several of them tried it, I decided the ionantha and caput medusae looked best in them. Perhaps after each watering, I’ll rotate who gets to sit in the orbs.

October 3, 2014 - the air plants at work are doing well. Two of them have pups!
