⌈ perception shapes reality, dear friend
follow me down the rabbit hole, if you dare ⌉
don’t you just hate it when you’re out at the iceberg lounge by yourself on a friday night and you look over and see the hottest batman rogue and you know he’s judging you???
look i just love @captainbaddecisions‘ rude snake man ok your honor I LOVE HIM
oh since I’m here I might as well be a bit self-indulgent and post about the old vulture man~
Did I tell you guys he’s divorced? :0 So, Crane’s career in academia was shaky at the start, being seen as an outcast by his fellow researchers for both his methods and ‘personality’. He wasn’t the only one though, and as a way to ‘promote’ each other’s name and provide some sort of credibility, he started a years long collaboration with another researcher. They worked in different fields, but what really mattered was using each other’s name to ‘normalize’ their presence among peers.
So he and Ivy got married when they were younger. Didn’t live together at all, but they were friends of sorts. When Ivy got far more ambitious with her criminal career and Crane’s experiments had a troublesome body count, they called the whole thing off. What really held them together was their need to blend in.... And mutual hate for Hugo Strange.
big lynx sis, little snake bro
words are meaningless and forgettable
I’ll just keep these references here minus the dating sim sheananigans.
Following the references I listed for Crane, his Scarecrow outfit is v much inspired by the Executors from Pathologic, Vultures (of course) and a bit of a horror-western kind of thing. (ah, and a hint of arkham asylum!scarecrow). Had a lot of fun designing it, despite how nervous I was about how it would turn out.
If you have a PhD and a criminal record then congrats, you're in!
