Autumn Heat [TWC - Benji/Sam]
Summary: It was supposed to be a nice outing to the County Fair, but to Sam's dismay, Benji seems hell-bent on making her miserable the entire time they're there. On the way home, her patience runs dry and she decides to take matters into her own hands.

Sam couldn’t think straight, not when the need was strong enough to make breathing difficult. She had to do something to alleviate this pressure and her mind’s suggestions were getting more and more risque by the second.
Then she decided to be done playing nice.
“Pull over,” she demanded and looked back at him again with a scowl. His face shifted to worry.
“Baby, is everything--”
“I said, pull over.”
At least that shut him up.
He didn’t question the demand; instead, he slowed down the car, pulled over, parked, and was halfway through taking off his seatbelt when Sam tossed off her sandals and undid her own seatbelt.
“Baby, what’s wrong?” he asked, concern painted all over.
Sam didn’t bother answering. She crawled over the seat console, straddled his hips in a position a lot less comfortable than she had hoped, and smashed her lips against his in a kiss that was needy, sloppy, and exactly what she’d been craving. She dug one hand into his hair, the other clawed into the t-shirt across his chest, then she purposefully rolled her hips against him, moaning when the friction relieved some of the ache she’d been feeling.
Unfortunately, now she wanted more.

Inspired by Stephanie Plum’s “car death” count in a series of novels written by Janet Evanovich.
Charlie is infamous for getting her cars destroyed. It started with the invasion of NYC (during the first Avengers film). Her home is on the outskirts of where the invasion occurred and most of the buildings and objects on her road were generally unharmed, though some debris was scattered around and there was some minor damage. Her suv was parked out front, and somehow, out of the line of cars parked on the street, hers was the one the Hulk chose to use as a baseball bat for one of the small Chitauri flight contraptions (fondly referred to by her as a flying alien jetski).
From then on, it seemed only evil befell her vehicles. They were constantly covered by either work or insurance; however, it seemed like every other second, she was driving a new one because the previous one got blown up, stolen, stripped for parts, crushed by the Hulk, smashed into pieces, launched into space, set on fire, etc.
The irony of it is that Charlie is an exceptionally good driver and has never actually caused any of the wrecks that have resulted in the destruction of the car.
Most of her vehicles have been small/medium suvs, with a few smaller cars when there were none of the previous ones available.
This will be an ongoing recurring theme - the closest trope description I have found for it is Chronically Crashed Car.

My car is screwed to the tune of 1300 dollars and a week of garage time.
I'm about to liquidate some stuff. I think I might be able to get some cash for my comic collection. I've also got some old MTG cards and a small tv. My roomie said he'd sell some art if he could. That won't cover it, not by a mile, but it's a start. Overtime will help too, but it is going to take some Olympic level financial gymnastics to sort this out.
This is what happened...the wheel fell/flew off at 70 mph. I took this pic while waiting for a tow truck. There was no warning and nothing had appeared to be off. I had already been driving for over an hour. I was lucky enough that I stayed calm and handled the car well enough to get to shoulder safely. I apparently destroyed the entire brake system along with the wheel. I messed the wheel up pretty horribly and it isn't a small repair.
Whee!
Ugh!!!! Why is there always nails getting in my tires!!!
So update, I still don’t have a vehicle 😒 I thought going back to Carmax would be super easy but uhhhh not this time...
So I basically want the same car so I found another Honda Fit but it’s a black 2016. Okay cool that’ll do, I put in a transfer for it and they said it would be two weeks. Then on the 12th day of waiting for it to ship, they tell me they don’t have the title for it so they can’t move it... okayyyy....
So I call them and try to find another one. The sales guy finds me a 2017 with the leather trim (I didn’t have that trim) and it’s a purple one! 🤩 Yay! I’m not even mad y’all had me waiting almost two weeks for nothing, that ones even better. They said but would take like 7 days cause it’s only in Atlanta.
I got a text Saturday that the car got to my town and they just to check it over real quick. They’re closed on Sunday so I thought it might be done by Monday but they never got back to me. So I tried to call them today and I could never get to my store, it’s always the call center but then this one lady was able to get some info for me.
Finds out that they can’t find the title for this one too! 😡 What in the world??? How are y’all able to post these cars on your site and take all these pictures without having the title???
I’m like over this... the lady did suggest that I go over there and at least look at the car and test drive it and maybe them seeing me in person might get me some answers or speed up the process. So me and my mom are going in the morning. But they still can’t sell it to me though...
Hey everyone! Accident update! My car got totaled! 🤗 I found out the last 30 minutes of work and I was depressed but then I got off and called the insurance company and felt much better! Found out that they get the value of the car by looking at what other cars are going for in the area and since there’s basically... no Honda Fits being sold in the trim and low mileage that I have in the whole state of Georgia, they actually offered me a cash out more than what I paid for the car. 😲
So after they pay Carmax I can get the rest toward another car. I can probably get something nicer if I wait and save up a little more. It sucks cause that color was beautiful but man I thought I wasn’t gonna get anything so I’m happy!
Y’all don’t ever go to Macon, Georgia. Especially avoid I-75, it’s cursed.
