I loved Drummer in the Expanse. She was a combo of two characters from the book which can be iffy but the second she stepped on screen in her blackout eye makeup and fierce accent I was lost forever. Her and Chrisjen and Bobbie and Amos. Ahhh I love them all!

Unfortunately, the composition on this one as a radial piece wasn’t as successful so I didn’t post it. But I’ve gotta show it now. Kinda reminds me of a flower? Which is off for Drummer.

Little Did We Know by Cara Dee 🏠 Found family with a side of friends fucking 🏠 Founding a BDSM club and community together 🏠 Spinoff novella, origin story for author's series The Game. Best read after reading the first few books of the main series. I mainly loved this one because I adore The Game. This is the origin story of how the founders of Mclean House, a BDSM club and community, met and developed the place that is a staple in The game. The characters and the dynamics are great, and the evolution of the found family through 15 books has been wonderful to read over the years. Many of the kinks weren't my thing, but I still picked up every book because of how much I adore the characters. Cara Dee writes characters with such distinctive voices that even with eight characters in a novella, it was so easy to tell everyone apart.

BECAUSE OF YOU I haven’t read anything else except Cara Dee’s book. I’m on the fourth of The Game series and started the second of her Auctioned series along with Power Play which is kinda sorta part of a series but can be read on its own.

BUT IM NOT MAD BECAUSE I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HER WRITING!! And it’s kinda hilarious that gay erotica got me reading like actual books and not just fics 😂

Anywho……EVERYONE SHOULD CHECK OUT CARA DEE’S BOOKS!!! Her writing is incredible!!!

HANNAH look at you!! You flew through those, holy cow. 😍 I can't wait to read the next one, the third one. I just finished a book rec'd to me by @slothspaghettiwrites called Latte Darling and it was everythinnnnnng, it was so Daddy and cozy and reassuring and lovely, it was everything.
