Spent the last couple of evenings trying to capture the unbelievable atmosphere I experienced while taking the train through the Cairngorms National Park yesterday...

You wouldn't know it from my output, but I've been doing a lot of landscapes recently and it's been very satisfying. Now I just need to get more of them in a position where I feel I can share them!

What I wouldn't have given for all of the train lights to suffer from spontaneous failure, HONESTLY........ still, these photos got me part of the way, and then it was vibes and hastily-written phone notes:

Y'shtola's very weird family accompanies her to a research expedition to Tural. Or at least I assume that's why she ends up there

Rin and Ania have an extremely busy few years in between Endwalker and Dawntrail that may or may not include: one marriage, one PhD Archonship, two kids, one Syndicate seat buyout, and a lot of bullying on behalf of the Ala Mhigan diaspora.

After many, many false starts over the last few years, I finally decided to have a go at another self-portrait for social media icon purposes last night, and lo and behold, I've managed to do one that I actually quite like!

Played a wee bit of Scurry by @stoutstoatpress a few months back and had a blast. I ended up drawing my character, Rowan Redsquirrel, as we played. She has a cute coat, a map of her nut stashes, and a special noisemaker artefact (read: dog whistle) for emergencies.

I got a shiny Phantump in Pokemon Go yesterday, and I was SO enamoured with its colours that I had to draw something for it.

Easing back into making comics with this extremely self-indulgent FFXIV story. Post-Endwalker, Y'shtola and Rin (Warrior of Light) are separately dating Ania (also Warrior of Light) - a dynamic that takes some settling-in to. There are more of their adventures here: @rin-khatayin
