Percy was stood to the side of the party, alone, simply watching. He hadn’t really thought of what it meant, when Doc and Marlene came to him with this idea, but now the day had come and the room was full of people. All here for Billie, all here for him. He couldn’t ignore how good it made him feel, nor could he ignore how really, after last year, he certainly didn’t deserve any of this. But it only made him more grateful for each and every person there, made him more determined to do better. And now he had an even bigger reason for that. He was lost in that train of thought until Caradoc’s arrival at his side snapped him out of it.
