4/100 I was too delicate for the punk rock scene growing up, but I definitely loved the juxtaposition of the punk girls I knew. Women tend to have a physical softness to them and the punk scene was all about roughness and sharp edges. So when I looked at my punk lady friends I envied at their ability to maintain a balance of both hard and soft. 3/100 is #MaryBlair. Having previously worked in theme park concept design, I always thought it was cool that she designed the Small World ride for Walt Disney. She directly influenced the look of many animated Disney films, like Peter Pan and Cinderella. And her influence can still be seen in how they market the park! She eventually left Disney and found appreciation in children’s books, namely Little Golden books. Her work went on to influence many artists. Including myself. I always thought she had such a amazing look. Her face was so sculptural and her fashion sense was on point!
