Four cheeses, crispy bacon, sweet and smokey dates, and caramelized balsamic onions on top of these sliders make them very tasty. Excellent as a tasty starter or small meal.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 8 slices of bacon. 8 small slider buns. 1 large onion, thinly sliced. 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar. 4 dates, pitted and chopped. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooking oil for frying.
Instructions: Set your grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat to get it ready. Ground beef, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, blue cheese, Parmesan cheese, and chopped dates should all be put in a bowl together. Mix everything together well. Cut the meat mixture into 8 equal pieces and form each one into a small patty. On both sides, season the patties with salt and pepper. In a different pan, cook the bacon until it's crispy. Take it off and let it dry on paper towels. If you need to, add a little cooking oil to the same pan and saut the sliced onions until they turn clear and caramelized. Add the balsamic vinegar and stir it in. Cook for another two to three minutes, until the onions are covered and the balsamic vinegar slightly reduces. Take it off the heat. Grill or griddle the burger patties for three to four minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. Cover each patty with a slice of bacon and cook for one more minute. Let the bacon melt a little. Toast the slider buns briefly on the grill or in a toaster after cutting them in half. Put a patty with cheese and bacon on the bottom half of each bun. Then add a spoonful of the caramelized balsamic onions on top of each patty. Put the other half of the bun on top. Enjoy your 4 Cheese, Bacon, and Smokey Date Double Sliders with Balsamic Onions while they're still hot.
