my lad virgil hasn't been drawn in a while and i was overtaken with the urge to make art of him. i busted this out in like, an hour and half. i don't normally work that fast. he was Ready

what started out as kind of a figure study turned into a whole piece, oops (art under the cut, if only because idk how tumblr feels about men's booty cheeks. yapping and reference images also included because i have a crippling need to show my work LMAO)

my wonderful friend and dm @spinning-logic sent me a cool image of a model posing with a spear that he said would be a good reference for franz, so i saved it to study and as i was cleaning up the sketch, the pose ended up reminding me of some art of the drow goddess Eilistraee!

she's like. the only good drow deity and one whom franz himself reveres, so that's how i ended up taking the direction i did with this one! i really like the final result, i think it came out really well :3
