Nero DMC4 Model Details

Finally managed to get Nero's DMC4 model working! This took me a while but I finally got it extracted and re-built in a modern software.

I've heard people say it looks like he has freckles in DMC4, but he doesn't, that's just how they did the texture for his pores it seems. He does have dark eyebrows though, which is funny. I say this jokingly but considering how much use he gets out of them in the game, it'd be funny if he dyed them for effect.

His jeans are ripped, which kinda reminds me of the ripped/torn shirt aesthetic from DCM5. He also has fuckass boots with stupid buckles like his uncle (in 5) lmfao.

Looks like his jacket has seen better days too; its kinda frayed looking at the bottom. Considering the rest of the Knights all wear white, I'm assuming maybe Nero dyed his own this dark blue color?

Here's some close-ups of his rings-- the rose one reminds me of the thorn pattern on Vergil's coat.

The palm of his DB also has a really interesting texture to it. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it's definitely interesting.

(Take this as serious as you want. I was just bored and definitely wasn’t taking it serious towards the end. Also I have no excuses for spelling mistakes in this post, I just don’t feel like proof reading right now)

I was wondering what the outfits for the characters would look like in a new Devil May Cry game and was thinking about how they’d match the colors the characters are associated with. Dante known for red, Vergil mostly blue and in dmc5 black, and Nero for both red and blue, with blue being more notable in 5.

Then I was thinking “well I wonder if they’ll change up Nero’s or Vergil’s outfits in a future game for some kind of symbolism like they did in 5”.

Vergil wearing a black coat over the blue vest(?) showing him holding onto his humanity and mourning everything he’s lost in his search for power.

Nero, who wore both blue and red in his appearance In 4, where he met Dante, then dropped the red after meeting him, and wore blue in 5, where he then meets Vergil.

My first thought was- “maybe Vergil will go back to wearing blue and Nero will wear black to match his name.”

My next one was- “well, since Nero’s eyes in devil trigger are yellow, maybe he’ll wear yellow or incorporate it into his outfit to show he’s not quite like either of the twins and is free of wondering who his family is now.”

And my last thought was-“oh my god, I need Nero to be yellow or green to make them primary colors.” (Because technically there are several sets of primary colors depending on the context)
