IT IS FINISHED!! I can’t tell you how many hours/days this took me. I started this in early September, working on it sporadically. I bought the leaves and hot glue sticks, paint, sponges, clear string and brown paper. I made the papier-mâché at home. I used cardboard boxes that were going to be thrown away. I’m so tired but I’m happy that it’s done. I hope it lasts a long time. I’ve learned a lot and know what I’d do differently if I had to do it again. Tree update: I started adding leaves today and finished that last two branches with papier-mâché and paint. It’s looking like it’ll go up tomorrow and I’m so excited! 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁 possible TMI update: I’ve been in a lot of pain the last few days because of a period from hell. Added more to the top of the tree and figured out where the branches will go. Now to reinforce the added height. Hopefully I can get to do more paper maché today.
