I think LDN152 is Nate.
This is someone who doesn’t have a lot of self-confidence. Isn’t assertive, doesn’t know how to approach or talk to women.
Taking note from @carebohe and her thoughts on the misquoted Rilke, I think he’s trying to emulate Ted (like he did in 1x4 with the strut and the poorly executed birthday suit joke).
And what’s a safer way to do that than an app with no pictures? When the other party (Bossgirl aka Rebecca) doesn’t want to share personal identifying information?
It’s the chance to take risks and explore Nate trying to be more confident in a safe, anonymous setting.
For the fluff and the smut and my greedy shipper heart that wants everything now, I want to indulge in the red herring of Ted being LDN152. But it’s too early in Ted and Rebecca’s storylines (cause those two definitely need individual therapy), and we haven’t seen Rebecca make cringey choices in her dating life - which, from many interviews with Hannah Waddingham, we do.
I’m still gonna enjoy the “Ted must be LDN152” bread crumbs as we get them, and read all of the smutty fanfiction that goes along with it. But I don’t think it’s him - I think it’s Nate. And when that shit hits the fan it’s gonna be A LOT.
