feel free to ignore this but how do you think the main cast would deal with a little sick Mc who does not want to/refuses to take their medicine?
obviously feel free to ignore this if you don't know how to or don't want to write it
I really don't mena to sound like that's sarcastic btw, I promise it isn't I just really struggle with tone.
Dang y'all are on it with sending asks tonight!!!! I love it! Don't worry sweetheart I got ya, it doesn't sound sarcastic at all! I struggle with meds so this should be easy for me.
Pierrot:
Liquid- he's giving it to you then following it up with chocolate syrup like a kiddo chaser. "I know baby it's yucky, papas sorry but it'll make you feel less yucky."
Chewable pills- he'll crush it into ice cream or frosting for you, followed by soda or ice water.
No chew pills- he'll give you tiny flavored (pellet) ice cubes to swallow with your eyes closed, then the pill, followed by gummy bears and letting you open your eyes.
Injections: He'll practice for an hour before and even then he'll give you a kiss on the forehead, his hand to squeeze and just let you sit there until its over, once it is he gives you a candy and a kiss on the spot.
His method, convincing and food motivation.
Harlequin:
Liquid? He'll offer you a sip of juice and sneak it in at the last second.
Pills? Any kind he'll walk behind you when you speak, tilt your head back and drop the pill in before covering your mouth and gently but firmly rubbing your throat like a puppy to get you to swallow it. "Dearest, daddy swallows fire for his job, it's just a pill-" a pause. "That was rude, I'm sorry kiddo."
Injections? That's Doctors territory. If not Doctor then Jester, he loves you but he's terrified he'll mess it up. "Here, come sit on papas lap, it'll be over soon I promise." But he'll drag you to the tent if he has to.
Jester:
"little one, mommy isn't playing. You need to take this or you'll feel worse and if you feel worse you can't play." And he'll hand you the syringe with the liquid meds. You can do it yourself if it helps.
Pills? Where do you think Harlequin learned it? The amount of times he'll walk behind you, slip his finger in your mouth and push the pill to the back of your throat is crazy. And he wins every time.
He'll hold you the whole time you cry at him for that too. "I know mouse, Mommy's sorry but you had to take it." Doesn't even flinch when you pull his hair. "Shhh, baby that hurts. No thank you."
Injections? He lays you on his bed and makes sure he holds your hand while he cleans and preps the area. He'll lightly pinch the spot, no countdown so you don't tense and then it's done, he also rubs the spot for a few minutes to make sure it doesn't give you muscle pain.
Ticket Taker:
He'll use the mirrors to make you think they're candy. It's not candy but the mirror changes the image, which almost changes the taste. Interesting.
Injections? He has you hold a stuffie and lets you pretend to give the stuffie the shot while he gives you yours. "Good job kiddo, did that hurt so bad?" You nod. "Mhm, did it hurt or was it scary?" Loves for you to think it through. He's very gentle so mostly just scary. But he loves being able to show you the process when he gives you shots, lots of teddy practice for you both!
Doctor:
You're his little one, he has you trained to take meds whenever, telling you the meds will give you super powers. And he's a doctor so of course you believe him.
"mhm, if you take this rather than fighting me it'll make you fly." And he'll carry you around really fast and let you pretend you're flying.
Shots? He follows behind you while you play, sneakily cleaning it and then you just feel the most random tiny poke, when you look over he's just holding an empty syringe. "Whats that?" You'll ask. "Nothing little birdy, I just dropped it on the ground. Go back to your playing now, yes?"
Assume baby/toddler age range if not stated otherwise
SFW ONLY FOR THOSE WHO FIND THIS AND DON'T KNOW WHAT AGERE IS
Pierrot:
"Awww how silly! But dada isn't for biting!" He'll gently pull you off of him and pat your head.
Offers a solution, pacifier, teether, snack, just not his arm or legs!
Actually maybe let's go brush your teeth! That's probably a good choice! He has yucky stuff on him from work! No sweetness, it's not Kool aid.
Harlequin:
"If you're going to bite me, leave a mark you, little ankle biter."
He's playful about it and doesn't discourage it! Heck he'll even play bite you back! Until he accidentally bites to hard...
"shoot-! Little one I'm sorry!" He'll panic and hold you tightly. No more biting for a while, alright kiddo?
Jester:
Stares at you until you let go. Will hold eye contact and eventually, tell you to "leave it." And wait for you to drop his limb.
Now if it's aggression or upset biting and you don't let go? He's going to pry your mouth off him one way or another then give you a pacifier.
"No more biting mama, that hurts." Maybe a timeout.
Ticket Taker:
Trying not to turn into a sailor. Your little baby teeth are sharp and he's an old man!
"Little one-! No! Let me go that hurts!" He can't shove a teether at you fast enough. And honestly steers clear of your mouth for a while!
When he gets you to let go he can't help but just stare at the bite mark in confusion- cause seriously what the heck?!
Doctor:
Harlequins teeth are much sharper, and he is a much bitier little one. Doctor is used to it by now. If he can work he'll be fine.
"little one, how about you let go and I color in the bite marks with a pen?" He'll make it into a fake tattoo! One that bruises...
"Honestly this looks like it's from a cookie cutter shark-" a pause and a headpat. "Impressive."
FOR THE LOVELY TEEN REGRESSORS
Pierrot:
Dead silence. "Do you need attention?" Will move over for you to have snuggle room.
Never redirects your biting as long as you aren't harming him. "Do your teeth feel itchy?" He'll ask if you keep readjusting your bite.
Once he was cooking when you bite him and his first instinct was the spray vinagear at your mouth cause that bite HURT!
Harlequin:
You're old enough, you bite him he's biting you back you little shit. Teeth marks EVERYWHERE by the time you're done!
All of the really good snacks go to whoever won. Least bite marks on your body wins!
"I think we're crazy." "Yeah probably. But I won."
Jester:
"You may not be a toddler but I WILL throw you in the corner if you bite me." You're old enough. Talk without biting please.
If you ask, yeah he'll let you bite on him for a second or two but then find you something else to bite.
He has the world's best hearing. He knows those are your footsteps no matter how quiet. "Do it, I dare you. See what happens." He's not gonna hit you! No! Just embarrass the hell outta you infront of your friends.
Ticket Taker:
Again. The man just stares. "Why?! Do I look edible?!" He pauses for a second. "Don't answer that." He knows he's the closest looking to a human. He eats humans.
"Do you want a pacifier or something? There's teething rings at the store." Just kinda assumes you're regressing younger therefore need something for that.
"you just wanted to bite me? Go ahead but let me duct tape a pillow to my arm first." He's tired. Please don't bite your caregiver.
Doctor:
Now he'll join in biting back! You're older, consequences come with the action.
He'll make sure he teaches/reminds you how to clean a bite wound!
In the event that he's too busy to play with you or deal with the biting then he'll call Harlequin over and ask him to roughhouse with you. Safe to say it's pretty humbling.
Do you think any of them would be frightened by extreme weather? We had some recently, and it made me slip, so I was just wondering how the circus would react. (Haven't really gotten fully out yet, so sorry if my words are a lil hard to understand)
- 🧸
You are all good love, I understood perfectly! Hopefully the whether wont be too bad again soon! As for them dealing with extreme weather let's get into that 🩷
Pierrot:
Definitely NOT a fan of thunderstorms, especially lighting and thunder!
Definitely pushes him to the point of regressing when it's lasting a while or if it wakes him up at night
Usually if the rain is meant to be heavier that night or anything they troupe spends the night in the same tent just Incase, so it's usually pretty easy for someone to get up and go comfort him a bit until he goes back to sleep.
If whether catches him by surprise he may just sit with a teddy bear and his pacifier until it stops, he's not leaving his tent and he REFUSES to ask Jester or Ticket Taker when the rain is this bad!
Harlequin:
It's not too much of an issue for him unless he's decided to be little by himself, in that case he'll wait for it to slow down, get the confidence only a toddler can have, and run as fast as he can with his teddy and flashlight all the way to whoever is closest.
If they're all together he'll move closer to whoever he's sitting with and lean on them, trying to listen to anything but the loud thunder outside.
Usually gets pulled into someone's lap when this happens so he'll chill out, especially if he can hide in Doctors big cloak!
Jester:
If he's already stressed out then absolutely it's gonna bite him and he'll slip, but usually it's no big deal for him.
Should he be little during heavy rain, lightning and thunder you probably won't be able to hear it over his screaming. If he WAS calm and settled, not anymore!
If you show him the rain he's more likely to calm down but not completely.
Ticket Taker:
Completely unbothered. He knows it's just water falling from the sky and he could care less
Even if he's already little he'll just pause his activity for a moment, look at whoever he's with for a second (if he does have someone with him) and if they're alright he's fine.
Also does not want to play in the rain but if he had to go in it he'd prefer cold rain over warm rain. Warm rain feels sticky.
Doctor:
Had to be blocked from exiting his tent because he can and WILL go out and just stand in the rain until it's over.
He likes the rain, will gladly go and splash in every single puddle he finds! He loves it!!!
If he wakes up at night and he can hear the wind hitting the tent super hard he'll pay it no mind and go back to sleep.
A caregiver Jester and Ticket Taker x Little YN/MC fanfic! As always, an apostrophe (') is a missing letter if it's in the middle of a word!
Ex: I wan my s'uffie! = I want my stuffie! 🩷
Also yes I know I said I was going to work on my spacing but this has been in drafts for a month now.
Jester:
"Mouse, it's time to wake up. We have much to do today." I make yet another attempt to wake the mouse up, however they just won't listen. There's too many things to be doing today that don't require them laying in bed all day. "No!" I can't help but stare, my little fool telling me no? As if they don't quite remember who makes the rules in this tent. "Mouse, it wasn't a request. It's time to wake up." I tug the blanket off them and start grabbing their attire for today. I reach for the suit option, a bit more flexible for them to hand out fliers. However before I can turn around the mouse is clinging to me from behind. "Ti'ed!" I pause for a moment but pull then off me and face them before kneeling to their level. "Mouse, how do you feel?" They stare at me with those tired eyes. "S'eepy dada..." The tiny mouse mumbles while holding onto my work attire. "Fuck." I stare back at their eyes. Of course they'd be little the one time I actually need them to be in their right head! I push them away gently and take a breath, I do adore my little but sometimes- sometimes I wish they had been on the dinner table, even if I won't tell them those cruel words. "Mouse, you need to get dressed." I hold out a new outfit, softer but still blending in with the other fools, though still likely to pull guest attention for being different. I grab them their pacifier and clip it onto their shirt after I get them dressed. "Good job mouse, go put your shoes on." I pat their head and walk away to get her some papers for Bil, only to turn around and see them half asleep on the floor. "MC...shoes. Now." I scoop them up and put them on a chair so they'll wake up. "I don wanna! No-!" They rush back towards the bed and wrap up in their blankets, oh what a disaster today. "Mouse, do I need to get Bil?" They tilt their head quietly but still visibly upset. "Right...little one," I begin, trying to reason with them. "Do I need to go get Daddy or will you behave so we can work?" I watch them shake their head and start putting their shoes on, what a good little one. "Good job sweetie." I help them with the laces and hold their hand as we walk out of my tent and towards Ticket Takers. Thankfully the circus isn't open yet so I can let them run ahead of me a few steps towards his tent. "Pick up your feet, don't fall." I reminded as gently as I can, they truly don't respond well to louder voices.
Ticket Taker:
I don't bother turning around as I hear my little ones footsteps approaching quickly, I know how much they adore trying to surprise me by hugging me. Their efforts are adorable but relatively ineffective. "Daddy!" I turn around and smile at the human currently hugging me. "MC, hello." I pick them up and hold them in my side while staring at Jester. "Were they not supposed to help with flyers today?" I ask him, already knowing the answer. "They woke up feeling small, don't blame me." He adjusts my mask and sits down on my bed. "I see, we'll have to get someone to replace them for the day." I say mostly to myself, Jester already has it sorted while I brush my littles hair and give them their pacifier. Whilst the two of us talk about businesses we keep a close eye on our little fool currently crawling around looking at everything with newfound interest. Despite seeing it all day everyday. Childrens curiosity, what an interesting concept. And a slightly ridiculous one- "MC, drop it darling. We don't put things that touch the floor in our mouths." I tell them as I take away a pen they were actively trying to chew on.
They have a pacifier, yet try to bite everything NOT meant for human consumption. "Right, now that the little one isn't attempting to eat office supplies, what should we do with them while we're performing? We both go at the same time." I turn back to Jester and continue the conversation with him. "I'm not sure, we could leave them with Doctor, but you know how they get when in his tent." He nods, we all remember the day our little wandered past the bounds of their ticket and in to Doctors tent. Thankfully he knows to be gentle with them but still gave them quite a scare. "...I hate to say it, but we could still send them out and have Harlequin watch over them." We both stare at each other, it's a logical option. We do have a leash for them that Harlequin can use to keep them close, but what if something happens? That's our darling, our life. What if they get hurt? Trip and scrape their knees or even walk into the street and get hit by a scooter! "No." We both quickly agree having thought the same thing. After some strategic arrangements we came to the conclusion that staggering out performances would be the best option, as well as swapping who has the little one. As time ticks by, we play, color and even do some reading, but eventually the time comes. "Right, little one you need to go with mama while I get ready to perform, I'll see you later dearest." I tell them before kissing their forehead and watching my beloved monster begin to carry them out of my tent and towards his own. I'll see them in an hour, they'll be alright. Even if I do already miss them But for now, the show must go on.
Jester:
"Okay mouse, you stay in the playpen while mama works, alright?" Before I can even finish setting them down however, they grab me and try kicking their way out of the playpen. "Mama no! Play?" I shake my head and set them into the playpen. "Little one I need to work. I have papers to fill out, you stay in here and play." They frown but I pat their head and give them a stuffie to play with in addition to their other toys. And that's just how the rest of the day goes until they fall asleep.
anon 🪽 4yrs agere, mc sleeping with jester but then they have a bad dream and cling to him, and he wakes up? <3
This one I can answer for ya!
Jester:
He's a pretty heavy sleeper most nights, so it'll probably take him a minute or two to actually wake up when he notices you clinging to him
Instantly he's handing you your stuffie that somehow ended up beside him rather than you.
"little mouse what happened? Was there a scary shadow?" Head shake from you, he'll play the guessing game though. Injuries? Accident? Oh- bad dream.
"I thought I got rid of those for you-" before he pulls you closer to make you feel safe, making sure your feet are under the blanket cause that's rule one of monsters under the bed- or next to you in bed?
Sleep deprived and genuinely confused when you ask him to check for monsters under the bed. "Under the bed-? There's one IN the bed...go back to sleep."
If you try to protest but also use a pacifier, mute button. He loves you but mama is TIRED. Go. To. Sleep. Mouse.
Keeps you close to him all night while also not managing to fall asleep until he's confident you're asleep again.
Dang it- yes. He will get out of bed- HIS bed and check for a monster even if he is one. "No it's not someone scary it's just Carl" he's messing with you! It's Steve not Carl.
He loves you, don't wake him up again unless you're actively dying. Or call Ticket Taker. Actually no go get Pierrot, Ticket Taker is more tired than mama is.
Half the time if he's sleeping he'll forget you're there, "little one- didn't you go back to your house?!" Thinks he accidentally kidnapped you and sits up, only to realize that no it's a weekend, you don't have work tomorrow and it was a bad dream.
I loved the one-shot about Jester experiencing regression for the first time! Could we have some headcanons about the others experiencing regression for the first time too, and see how the rest of them react?
Don't know how good this will be but I gave it my best shot!
Pierrot:
He didn't really understand the first time. Never knew what was happening, just kinda roamed around the circus chewing on his sleeve.
Thankfully it was on a day off so there was no one other than the rest of the circus to see, but he loves his family! They don't pay too much mind to it either.
He's a little more quiet than usual that day but everyone just assumes he's tired and just moves his sleeve away from his face anytime they walk past him.
In the end he spills his drink and drops a few things but by the time he's in his bug headspace again he just assumes he had an off day or something. It's not until many years and lots of changes to society later that there's a name for it. There's definitely a collective "oh-" when Doctor tells them all.
Harlequin:
Okay so like Pierrot he started regressing before they ever had a name for it. There wasn't a title, just "they act a bit different sometimes" probably not enough sleep.
He just had a lot more energy and when he was big again decided that he had probably eaten something with some of Doctors chemicals or a drug they use on fools.
Yeah he gets a bit more bitey but the others assumed he was just trying to be silly or still getting used to freedom and being the youngest monster in the group.
"Has Harlequin said anything to you today?" "No, but he keeps clinging to me and hiding under my coat." -Cue two green pupils peeking out from under the Doctors old uniform.
Ticket Taker:
A much more recent little, they've finally learned what regression is. So he'll ask Jester to sit down with him and quietly explain he wants to try it.
Only as an experiment though-! Or maybe not... He does appreciate Jesters help in getting him to be little and it's definitely a bit awkward at first, the two have to remember to not be so serious about it.
In the end the two end up just taking a nap, Ticket Taker holding onto a pen he was using to fill out a word search.
Doctor:
He starts off doing it for research but pretty quickly realizes he likes it and just starts following people around.
He'll follow anyone he can because they make him feel safe, even if he's physically bigger than them.
He trails behind and just listens to conversations, VERY rarely does he add to a conversation and when he does it never makes sense, just smile, nod and "that's a really good point little bird, thank you."
He has looooved headpats since the day he started, that's why he follows people around.
"Doctor, are you sure about this?" A quick nod while already being rugged on by Harlequin. "I can handle two littles while you handle things with Ticket Taker." Somehow despite the reassurance... Jester still just doesn't have a good feeling about leaving his littles in Doctors care. Not because he's irresponsible, but because the littles can be quite a handful together. "Alright, just call us if you need anything." And with that, he slowly but surely exits the tent, only slightly less worried than when he first started the conversation. Doctor knows how to care for the smaller monsters, he knows where the bottles and sippy cups are, where the pacifiers are and where the littles are. "Okay you two-" uh oh. "Little ones? Where are you?" While it does take a lot to make Doctor panic, this is certainly a lot! He turned his back for three seconds to look for something and they're gone. "Okay, common hiding spots. Where can two monsters with horns fit to hide...?" Behind the couch? Nope. Behind the curtains? Nothing.
It's been a good 10 minutes now, and Doctor can't help but move faster and almost trip over things as he searches for the two chaotic toddlers. "Pierrot! Harlequin this isn't funny anymore come out here now!" He yells while exiting the tent and running around the circus, maybe they got out of the tent? He didn't hear any canvas rustling but maybe it happened? He checks his tent, Pierrots tent, Harlequins. Nothing. He runs for Jesters. Maybe the two regressed monsters got confused and tried to follow Jester and ended up in his tent rather than with him? He shoves the flap aside but still trips on the ground as he gets inside. Nothing on the stage, nothing in the audience seats. Maybe behind the stage? "Harlequin! Pierrot! I have candy! Stickers?!" He starts offering bribes, he needs to get them and put them in a safe spot. Yet he still can't find them! Maybe Ticket Takers tent? Another thorough check. Not a single little seen or heard. No colorful flashes of green and red onesies or black and white hair. He makes it back to the black tent, the tent left for the troupe to set up and live in and have social time together. Yet just when all hope is lost. Oh gee, look who's sitting right there on the couch. Well, who was sitting on the couch, now held tightly in the large bird man's arms. "Birdy!" He can't even talk, just stands there holding the white haired clown tightly. "Sweetie, where is Harlequin?" He doesn't get a response, just two hands happily reaching for his plague mask. "No no, not now. Where is Harley?" The big golden eyes don't reveal anything, they just stare up at him. Sweet and innocent, shiny and bright. "You don't know, do you?" He asks before setting the little down and taking his mask off. "Here." He hands Pierrot the mask, making sure to keep his eyes on the red kiddo whilst getting the play pen set up. It's super big, with nice tall plastic panels (decorated in Harleys bite marks) to keep them from climbing over. Once it's set up he throws in the blankets, the pillows, stuffies, Harlequin, sippy cups "Wait-" He almost falls over from how fast he whips his head around. "Harlequin!" He goes to grab the green little kraken but has to toss Pierrot in first. He's not taking chances anymore. "Little grinch where have you been?" He stares down at the mischievous green eyes that lean against his chest. "Snack?" Oh boy could the sigh be heard from all the way across the circus..."I'll get you both some goldfish, but for now," He puts Harlequin back in the playpen, patting his head twice before walking towards the kitchen. "You two stay put and behave."
The moment he's out of sight, green pupils meet gold. "I wan candy..." Pierrot smiles and claps happily, his own agreement. Without even thinking Harlequin pulls himself up on the wall and SOMEHOW wriggles his way out of the playpen and rolls onto the floor. "Shhhh!" He shushes the already silent little still stuck in the 'cage' and starts his way to the kitchen. Wobbling just a bit as he makes his way to behind Doctor. "Can'y?" He asks, poking Doctor in the back. "How did you get out?" Doctor asks, kneeling slightly to meet Harlequins emerald eyes. "Can'y." He repeats, only to be met with a head shake. "No little one, you-...What are you doing Harlequin?" He asks curiously as the little one holds out an apple at him with a glare. "Go 'way!" The shorter of the two yells while waving the apple around in the Doctors direction. "Little one, do you really think that will make me go away?" It's more than evident that Harlequin didn't think it through, but he still nods. Only for the apple to be taken and bitten into by Doctor. "This does nothing small child. You're not having candy right now, I'm sorry but that's how it is." And the green grinch is swiftly dropped back into the playpen.
Just in time as well. "We're back!" A familiar voice calls before walking a bit faster towards the playpen. "There's my little mice, enjoying your snack?" Two nods followed by babbles about snacks quickly get interrupted by the Ticket Takers voice. "How were they?" No one speaks, the littles look at the Doctor, who looks at the littles, who look at Jester, who's staring at Doctor. "Perfect. They watched a few shows and had a snack."
Y'all wanted me to tag the WONDERFUL @darthsuki in a post! So I went with a story involving Doctor since he seems to de Darths favorite 😅 is this making me anxious to post this? Yep. But fuck it we ball. If y'all wanna tag him in the comments I wouldn't be upset 🫠🫥🤭
Can I ask how does tfc cast handle an mc that hides their regression(poorly)
Sweetheart I apologize if this is bad, I don't want it waiting overnight but I've answered like 6-8 asks tonight (not complaining I love it!) but it's currently 2:15 am. That being said if you don't like PLEASE request it again and I will indeed redo it for you.
Pierrot:
He knows. He knows you're a little, you just have that vibe to you. However he waits for you to tell him you're a little and with that comes the fact he knows when you're regressing.
He'll see you standing there staring at a carnival game prize and grab it for you as well as handing you a small snack and pulling your hand away from your face.
Constantly checking in with you when he sees you giving small tells, shifting your weight from foot to foot too much or your eyes just drifting around wherever light moves.
Harlequin:
He teases you about it. If you get mad or upset your fine, if he can see you just stare blankly at him or whatever you chose to react, he knows. He adores you yes, but he loves making jokes.
He'll slowly start making you regress further, tying your shoe, patting your head when he walks past you, stuff that will make it easier to tell you aren't as much of an adult as you say you are.
In the end he gets Pierrot to regress and shows you it's okay to be little without hiding it. I mean look, Pierrot has a pacifier and he's sitting in front of the whole troupe, you'll be alright.
Jester:
He knew you were little the second he caught your eye, the way you looked away from him immediately, a dead giveaway.
He catches you trying to chew on things you shouldn't, getting emotional over silly things that may not affect you while big, he just knows.
All his experience has him carrying you through the circus while you cry. He doesn't mind, it's helping you be more little in public, you can't hide anything from mommy.
Ticket Taker:
He'll lure you into his tent, let the mirrors draw the regression out of you. Expose the deepest secrets of your headspace to him so he can convince you that hiding is useless.
You start getting distracted and he'll jingle something in your face, keys, maybe his cane? He's getting your attention whether you like it or not and that means he can use very big words that convince you to regress further without you knowing.
Just listen and he'll let you play behind his stage and keep yourself entertained.
Doctor:
Of course he clocked your tiny self as a little, you just don't stop moving, but when you stared getting little you slowed down, you sobbed at the sight of his needle he was using for a prop.
He notices every time your eyes start to drift, you start to chew on a sleeve or get too distracted. He brings you back while letting you keep regressing.
Eventually he starts sedating you and giving you time to sit with the others while you're little, letting you get used to people seeing you so you'll stop hiding. It just does more harm than good here in this Circus.
AHHHH I FINISHED IT- IM GOING NI-NI I LOVE YOU ALL!!! I GOT MY PACI AND IPPY CUP NI-NI!!!
