Utterly crestfallen is the rebel regarding her newest challenge. Desolation laces her tone, seeping into every word she spoke. ❛ I fear I still do not fully grasp this concept, Greg. ❜ The concept of love, true human love. It was an emotion and display the quartz had attempted to emulate for years now. She was certain she had mastered it, playing the role so very well. That was, until, the other had proved her wrong. Greg had introduced Rose to compassion really was and what love could be. All of it came so fast and without warning, she wasn't prepared.
It was overwhelming, diving into this new world completely clueless. ❛ Why must everything humans do be so simple yet so complicated? How do any of you navigate through this? ❜
HOLDING ! GREG’S !! HAND !!!
❛ no, thank you! i'm flattered you thought of me — it is the thought that counts, as you humans so often say — but i'm going to have to pass on the, ehm, "pop" music. sharp, pulsating noises make me inexpressibly uncomfortable! ❜
@carehurt for greg.
🌟🌟🌟 nosepicker thompson?? gO
this isn’t fair you’re the first one to hear my useless thompson facts anyway
after the amputation of both his both his lower legs, flash was approached by project rebirth 2.0. those having paid close attention to captain america’s origin story might recognize that name as the project that made scrawny steve rogers into a big beefy super soldier. what’s interesting to me is how captain america and agent venom seem to be polar opposites. captain america was created to be right in the spotlights, bringing hope and motivation to his fellow soldiers. agent venom, on the other hand, was carefully crafted to operate from the shadows, a one man black-ops operation, using venom’s reputation as a carnivorous villain to scare the living hell out of the enemy. steve rogers was bullied, hated bullies. flash was a bully. the list goes on.
back in high school, there used to be quite a contrast between his everyday shoes, and his football shoes. his casual footwear would usually consist of some sneakers that’d be all sorts of worn down. sure, they’re attached to his feet and they’re not Quite falling apart and as long as that’s the case, he won’t buy a new pair. his football shoes, however? creme de la creme. chef kiss. he saves his money for them just to get a great pair. they’re his babies. his pride and joy.
i feel like flash would have really liked art had he given it a chance. of course art is “for sensitive people” and this didn’t go well with the toxic masculinity drilled into him from a young age, but the subtle things he seems to do for fun does show some interest. one of the spider-man suits he made was good enough to fool even doctor doom himself into thinking he’s the real deal, and even after losing his legs he never ceased to put a lot of creativity into his halloween costumes. he’s good at it, and he clearly has fun with it, so fuck you, harrison.
“ dad! ” stevonnie’s shout left their lips in a moment of excitement, eyes shining brightly. though greg obviously wasn’t connie’s father, calling him dad simply felt right to stevonnie.. and calling doug and priyanka mom and dad.. also felt right. they could work on the formalities later, after all.
the fusion headed towards greg, a corndog in one hand, and a cone of cotton candy in the other, and looked pretty pleased with themselves. “ funland has some new food stalls, they look great, huh? you want to try something with me? ”
