Do You #CareLikeCrazy About The November Elections?
National Voter Registration Day has passed, but the Countable team is still trying to get everyone that crosses our path to register to vote, and actually cast a ballot.
When people have asked us "why should I bother?" our answer is usually various versions of the same thing: When you don't vote, you forfeit the right to have your voice heard.
If you were to ask the people behind Rock the Vote's new #CareLikeCrazy campaign, you would hear something like this:
"Do you feel like voting now?," they might ask. "How about now?":
And if voter access isn't your thing, they have plenty of videos that target other issues that you probably care about too:
While the narrative definitely gives off an "us versus them" vibe, Rock the Vote uses these figures almost as a dare posed to young voters: "If you don't, they will." And this campaign works both ways. Maybe the people in these ads seem reasonable to you — even more reason to get out and vote!
We're enthusiastic about getting people out to the polls this November, how are you spreading the word? Let us in the comments below!
Don't miss Rock the Vote's new Care Like Crazy campaign.
