countability
Deeds are countable, love is uncountable.’ - Sufi Master @younusalgohar . . .
“uncountable / countable / something spreads” by Rachel Summerfield -- Field Museum, 7.31.17
I’m not sure why I didn’t talk about this before, but make sure you get the Countable app.
It’s an app that allows you to track the bills Congress is voting on, along with their recent activity. In addition to staying informed, you can follow the issues that matter to you, leave feedback for your representatives directly through the app, and even get their contact info within seconds.
I already called my chickenshit Senator and Representative today (you can just tap their contact info and it dials for you). It’s easy:
Also friendly reminder that House members are usually responsive to constituent demands since they’re basically running for reelection the second they get to office. This shit works.
If you're like me and you’ve been having trouble keeping up with all of the political fuckery that’s been happening lately, get the Countable app. It’s free, gives you quick news summaries, and keeps you posted on what Congress is getting up to. It lays out what big bills are being voted on that week, gives you an explanation and pros and cons, and lets you send your opinion directly to your reps. Plus it also lets you see how your reps voted on certain things, so you can keep their choices in mind during the 2018 election.
Basically it makes being up to date on this nationwide trainwreck - and the people who are supposed to be on our side in the middle of it all - way easier. I think it’s available on both Android and iPhone, and there’s also a website if that’s more your jam.
Now seems like a good time to remind yall about the free app Countable that helps you get in touch with your reps and stay up to date with bills in congress. Each bill is presented with an argument for and against, and you can vote yea or nay and leave a text or video message. The app will send this to your relevant state representatives on your behalf - I’ve actually gotten emails back from my reps addressing what I wrote.
Probably one of the easiest ways to stay in touch with bills and communicate with your representatives!
HOW TO BLOCK TRUMP'S ADMINISTRATION VIA COUNTABLE™:
Countable™ is an app available for iOS/Android for American citizens. It will help you exercise your democratic freedoms by: A) showing you all the bills congress will be voting on during each week B) using your zip code to find your state representatives and giving you their contact info C) allowing you to contact said representative DIRECTLY IN THE APP You can customize which policies are most important to you (ex: LGBTQ+, Civil Rights, Education, Immigration etc.) and each article has links that tell you who each person is, what party they identify with and what they stand for! PLEASE DOWNLOAD THIS APP!! IT HAS LITERALLY NEVER BEEN EASIER TO STAY IN THE LOOP! DON'T LET DONALD TRUMP TURN OUR COUNTRY INTO A PLACE OF HATRED AND BIGOTRY
Hi guys! I'm sure there's already information out there about this app, but it's a great tool. This is Countable, an app that connects you to your representatives, legislation, and related issues. Not only does it find your reps for you (all you do is enter your zip code), you can also email, call, or video message them right from the app. This screenshot is from the iPhone app, but it's available for Android devices as well. This app makes citizen action very accessible, and I highly recommend it.
