Posted @withregram • @hospicedoctorswidow Sometimes, as a #CEO I got help from some indirect or unlikely sources – perhaps a vendor or community leader whose organization or business had a stake or general interest in my organization doing well. Or sometimes just letting a friend know of a challenging situation, yielded help. This is one place where people's overwhelming desire to #FixIt can be parlayed into #Delegation and #HelpingHands. Don’t forget your #CareRecipient ’s #Friends. When my mother was dying of cancer, I was her #Caregiver. She had a number of close friends who just came forward one after another. Some helped in communicating with other friends that I did not know how to get in touch with. Sometimes her friends sat with my mother when I needed a break. Just think about friends, yours and your Care Recipient’s, their strengths and interests and how that might fit a situational need. Sometimes the #CaregiverAsCEO isn’t a marching band leader or orchestral conductor but an improvisational jazz band lead. @iallyinc #ChiefEverythingOfficer #MillennialCaregiver #CaregivingForTheElderly #FamilyCaregiver https://www.instagram.com/p/CakH7ImudRe/?utm_medium=tumblr
