The story
Milan. The venture is from a party of bankers and investors who had asked Assocastelli, the prestigious association of owners of historic houses, to organize an event in Italy in a castle.
Then came the idea of creating a private members-only club for collectors and car owners of the prestigious car company.
The Club Ferdinand 1931 was born, twenty initial partners, all prestigious names, with a common denominator: full ownership of a vintage mansion or historic residence, and hold, one or more Porsche in the garage.
The international headquarters are based in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg with two delegates established: in Paris and Vienna and soon foreseen in London too.
In Italy, the club is represented by Assocastelli who will provide the Conciergerie and hospitality to the prestigious members.
Amongst the honorary presidents also features Robert "Bob" Ingram, a well-known collector and partner of the Hatteras American investment fund.
In the board of directors, the Chairperson of Assocastelli Ivan Drogo Inglese.
Italy and other countries will be the background for high-level events and initiatives included in the Club's program.
Also, Assocastelli offers its guests a "collection" of a fleet Porshe-cars that can be used for car tours in Italy.
A special video presentation, which illustrates "private" visits with accompaniment to the most important historic palaces in Rome. From the home of the maestro Giorgio De Chirico at Villa Medici (home of the French Academy), from Quirinale Palace (residence of the President of the Italian Republic) to Venice Palace.
