play Carimara👀👀👀
I discovered this game (Arrimmor, thank you Arrimmor), and even though it's only about an hour and a half long, I couldn't stop thinking about it for days until it resulted in this art uwu💞💖
next, me rambling about the the process of making this piece:
traditionally, my first piece of art in the new year is always some incredible banger, and this time was no exception. in this piece I really explored how complex I can make my own rendering without overworking myself in case I want to maintain this quality level in the future. there are some minor flaws in this art, but overall, I like how it looks! the cool angle, the axe in perspective, and this rich background drawn with just two colors are my reasons to be proud of myself =з=
If you haven't played Carimara: Beneath the Forlorn Limbs, you totally should! It's like 5 bucks, not very long and has style out the wazoo, SUPER good little experience.
It was also a fun challenge to experiment with my art, since my usual style on it's own I don't think is super fitting in this case. I really like limited colour palettes!
