I can’t stand how tiring it is to see 99% of the children characters getting hate or being called weak, ungreatful—downplayed— in this fandom Overall :( yes it’s not real in the first play I don’t wanna hear that, but from the character’s perspective it is real and the reality is they were all just children. Even while being sheltered it takes a STRONG mind to stay afloat in the new world.

I can argue the same for the mothers in the walking dead but it is obviously going to be hard growing up in an environment that only consists of grief, and death, and starvation, kidnappings and assaults if you stray too far from your group—it’s scary.

What I can do is appreciate small scenes/ child to child relationships because that’s sooo important even though we never got to explore it as a big storyline plot or hook; I miss Sophia that sweet girl=[

Beth taking on being den mother essentially for a while so that the older people can focus on getting things steady, she cared so so so much for Jude I’m devastated
