12. Talk about a new friend you made this year

I moved to London in September so I met a whole lot of people. Not sure if any of them are close friends yet, but the ones who are closest are my housemate A. who is a super nice crazy cat lady (which is fitting because we have three cats, and I’m also slowly turning into one), R. and P., two of my classmates from Chile, and S. who I met in the hiking club of my university.

13. How was your birthday this year?

Amazing! At that time I was still living in Romania with my boyfriend, he made a cake out of that Turkish semolina dessert that I love, we took it to our office where we had a short little celebration with all the people in our organisation which was really nice. In the evening we just cooked and watched a movie, as usual. And the next day we went to my favourite bar in town with a big group of all the European volunteers in town.

14. Favourite book you read this year?

I started reading the Outlander series in June, and now I’m on book seven! all of them have like 1200 pages, but I love them so much, i read them really fast

18. a memorable meal this year

I spent two months in Turkey this summer, and one day we came back to our flat after just having hitchhiked over 500km in 40 degree heat, we were really tired so we decided to grab some dürüm around the corner, and it was the most heavenly thing I’ve ever eaten. a dürüm wrap with grilled chicken, french fries, pickles, and an amazing sauce (tomato based, but i really dont know much more). that and cold ayran was the perfect thing at that point.

19. What are you excited about for next year?

said friend’s baby, visiting another friend at her Yoga ashram, finishing my masters, possibly (hopefully) finding a place/country to move to together with my boyfriend.

New Romantics by T swizzle (Taylor Swift). To me, the song is about friendship and how you can do anything with your close friends. You get into a lot of good, and a lot of bad, but it doesn’t matter because they’re still with you. It’s always fun, because you’re always growing. 

Mess is Mine by Vance Joy. I mean, this song is supposed to be about a romantic relationship but it speaks of our friendship too: you’re always here to help me, and I can tell you anything, and vice versa. Our messes will always be entwined, I hope :PMutuals, send me a ♠ and I’ll give you a song that reminds me of you.

Hah I flipped off my roommates back while she was walking away like less than 5 minutes ago. Lords, Maids, Turtle Doves, Partridge :)

Lords a-Leaping: Ten things I like about my personality1. I’m pretty reliable, I make that a priority of mine2. I have a good artistic eye (probably from working in film) for neat camera angles/shots.3. I can get extremely competitive which some may say is a bad thing but I really like it because it shows I’m passionate about a goal (which would be winning haha). 4. I tend to be empathetic which I like because it lets me understand and better relate to people. Some idiots call it “overlysensitive” which is a completely different thing, which I am definitely not haha. 5. So I got some quick mental reflexes from being bullied and a bully as a child, so I can out-diss pretty much anyone which I actually like being able to do. Can’t put it on a resume, but it does come in handy.6. I’ve improved like 10 fold at noticing when I’m being judgmental and stopping. I slip of course, but I am way better than I used to be and that took a lot of self improvement.7. I have the ability to talk about the weather or deep shit, which is always an asset.8. I’m a very quick learner (although I suck at memorization :( )9. I usually always reply to people extremely quickly (text, Facebook, etc) unless I am completely swamped with stuff to do and even then it’s pretty rare that I won’t reply quickly :P10. I generally always stand up for causes, people, etc. I don’t take many things “sitting down” haha.

Maids a-Milking: Eight things I like about my friends

1. They always try their hardest to cheer me up2. They’re always pretty reliable3. They go out of their way to do things for me (like your awesome gifts!!)4. If I need to talk they’ll make time in their schedules to hang out with me :35. If I need help in a course that we’re in they’ll sacrifice their time to help teach me and help me study w/out making me feel like a complete idiot haha.6. They deal w/ my dumb humor.7. Turtle Doves: Two people I like. Robin because he’s literally always there for me and he sacrifices so much and idk how I could ever repay him, like I’d have to take a bullet for him for us to be even (and I probably would take a bullet for him).Josh who has only met me like twice but still sends me nice messages on here when he sees I’m having a bad day. Thank you Josh, it literally makes my day so much better, and it does make a difference. You rock. ♥Partridge in a Pear Tree: My one love. Netflix.
