I wish I could just run away. I wish I could just take flight. with wings on my soles like Mercury, I would race into the night. I would run to a golden utopia where everything finally felt real. I would run to my Elysium, where it wouldn't be a crime to feel. where is my promised land? they told me that this is my destiny. all I've learned is that oracles aren't shit, and that wanting to be happy is somehow a felony. if passion is criminal, call me an outlaw, call me an Ovidian disaster. because I'm a poem and I'm a mistake with a heart that beats a little faster.
