The judging start his Sableye earned was legit -- she entirely deserved it. Jay had finally managed to catch whoever was stealing cards, keys and the like in the Aqua base. His own Pokemon, for fuck’s sake.  Carmen sat there, happily hissing and squeaking as she showed her collection of shinies to her trainer: bank and credit cards, keychains, memory cards, jewelry, even his new set of wrenches. There would be some explaining to do... 

Taking hold on the pile of cards she planned on eating for dessert, maybe, he flipped through them as he ignored the indignant hisses coming from the small angry imp he called his partner. Lorenz, Trey, Archie, Shelly, Matilda, Matt... Shit, there was quite the pile to scan through. He still let Carmen have three cards back, all bearing the same name. Because fuck you, Jerry, that’s why.

Walking back into the hallways to find the card owners, Jay spotted the familiar silhouette of a grunt. “Mati! Hey!”, he called out, jogging up to her -- a not so apologetic Sableye trailing behind him. “What d’ya say to the guy who found yer card?”
