      those words make her instinctively crouch down in an attempt to make less noise and when she speaks, it’s with a whispering tone.

   he’d like to take it as a compliment. but that’s hard when it’s coming from strangers with a charismatic liquor tongue. this is why he wonders if he’ll ever find it in him to resort to his weight in liquid confidence. unlikely. and it’s not that appealing either, he’ll live with not knowing if he’s an emotional drunk.

   the polite thing to do would be to hold conversation. but she seems kind of out-of-it to even take care. would she even notice if he skipped the ❛ hello ❜s and introductions like she did?

        she speaks with a slur to her voice, yet still she attempts to seems as if she’s in control of herself ---- clearly she isn’t, considering that carmen stands currently with a slight wobble to her step & vision partly blurry, the very cause why the boy’s outfit seems to be so bright in the very first place.

      carmen feels the need to comment more on the boy’s peculiar choice of clothing ---- how it matches the stars currently in the sky above.

what is carmen's relationship to her family? her parents? does she know her parents? does she have siblings, if so, what's her relationship with them?

carmen has a great relationship with her family. aside from her mother dying at a young age from illness, her father was wonderful towards his children. carmen and adalina ( carmen’s younger sister ) were extremely spoiled throughout their lives...partly also due to her royal status but also because he wished that they get everything they wanted. amando ( the king ) cared more about his family than his kingdom, hence why it’s basically shadow-run by his advisor who makes all the decisions to keep it from falling apart. he is where her bad decisions came from.

whenever she could make time in between her duties, carmen would often play with her younger sister in the castle gardens and would do anything for her. she’s a very protective older sister.

her mother was a little stricter, but in the “please for the love of god stop trying to throw yourself over a wall AND WILL YOU LOOK PRESENTABLE WHEN WE HAVE GUESTS JFC” kind of strict. the cool wine mom would be how to describe her. she was just extremely done with the way carmen presented herself almost 24/7.
