SLAY ENTREVISTA O ELENCO DE CARMILLA

Muitos de vocês conhecem a Slay/Laura (@CarmillaFeelsHQ). Ela mandou algumas perguntas para o elenco responder após a Season Finale e esse foi o resultado:

I’m actually really content and kind of happy with all the angst and drama on Carmilla. I think, given the current situation, the behavior among everyone is pretty accurate. I mean the portrayal feels very real. The way Laura is acting doesn’t really surprise me because if you think about it she’s never had someone save her life because they loved her. She’s never had a “hero” like that before (or at least it appears that way) so for her to put Carm on this pedestal and be pissed that she won’t be on the board and save the school makes sense. It’s like she feels betrayed in some way by Carmilla because of the role she placed her in so by Carm saying no to her that shattered the heroic image she placed on her. I think it’s very refreshing having this angst and drama in their relationship because having it be romance and cuddling and kisses all the time just wouldn’t fit for the situation they’re in. Last season sacrifices were made. Carmilla killed her mother which yeah she did questionable things and treated Carm kinda crappy but she was still her family and now Laura is asking her to turn on yet another family member for her. The consequences of the sacrifices made last season are starting to really play out and I think it’s very exciting and refreshing. Excellent job to the cast, writers, director, producers, and everyone involved for making everything seem real and different from typical mainstream media.
