The Lord John boutique on the corner of Carnaby Street and Ganton Street which initially opened in 1963, seen here with its wonderful three story high mural painted in 1967. The mural was painted by the then largely unknown pop-art collective Doug Binder, Dudley Edwards and David Vaughan.
This was the first Lord John boutique and was opened by the brothers Warren, Harold and David Gold. Lord John had eight shops by 1970, and grew to about 30 in the early 1970s, before being acquired by the retail group Raybeck.

Sunshine and a rainbow in London 🌈 It’s so touching to me how many students practice with me online @omstarsofficial There are so many people who begin their yoga journey with the tools that we provide. My dream was always that my yoga channel would be a support for spiritual practitioners so when I meet our online students it means so much to me. Thanks everyone for joining this weekend in London and thanks everyone who is a part of our Omstars yoga family. I’ll be in Stockholm, Sweden next weekend @atmajyotiyoga Come practice 🙏 Photo @ifilmyoga #yoga #yogi #ashtanga #yogaworkshop #londonyoga #ukyoga #carnabystreet #kinoyoga #omstars #yogalifehappylife 💕 (at London, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/CiF1GKfswq4/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
