i doodled these while in a stupor at the Unity workshop, trying to visualize a design for the Sector 20 workers. they've been floating in my head as a reptilian-alien species and i'm still developing them. Sector 20 is a parallel dimension which means everyone in our world (sector 4) has a double of themselves. Epsilon is not ingested here, it's a virus that is cultivated to be injected into the bloodstream. they have no mouths and lack a voice, communication is done telepathically but with the discovery of Epsilon they are able to morph and speak physically upon reaching LV4. it doesn't seem special to us but to the folk in Sector 20 it's like wOW HOOLY SHIT AMAZING.

the drawing of Carnaki was done for Inktober. finally, a version of him that does not breakdance or yells YOLOOOO.

"I know it's rather unprofessional to ask obvious questions on a first meeting but seriously, Ceter... what the hell was that in the second event?"

"Oh, sorry sir. The second event leads to our 'neighbours', if you could even call them that. Bunch of highly unpleasant folk... but without them we wouldn't be here."

i was actually rendering stuff for practice (the sector 14 headquarters) and thought maybe it'd be nice to draw some development panels for Carnaki's survey mission mentioned here before. Carnaki expected Ceter to jump out flailing but he got a quiet and serious 10-ft version of him, the whole mission is basically Carnaki slowly voicing to himself "ohgod this place has broken them all, this isn't Ceter and Cleytus is a god damn paper plane i can't deal"

While Sector 14 is an example of paranormal forces overpowering the norm, Sector 41 is the result of Cognizant's tyranny. Epsilon overgrowth and the quest to reach Unity.

scanning sketches at the office at 12am before i ran away in fear of the random noises. i've been writing and developing my neglected factions and characters, filling my sketchbook with a lot of nonsense besides programming notes. 

Cero's daily life consists of dimensional roaming and timeline checks on his staff members. it's a known fact that every individual has their own number of determined timelines in every dimension, the number is not known to them. Cero discovered that he has six, so he made a dice to force changes in case he runs into Archus time manipulators or their boss Gehile (which is pretty bad). Gehile is a portal that allows access to all dimensions, often only heard as a voice when it reminds its followers to leave a statue/relic of their likeness in their home before attempting dimensional travel. travelling Archus officers become horribly warped due to timeline possibilities whereas Cero appears as himself prior to his sisters' death. 'silver' means a shared timeline.

i also drew old people. "Everything's fine" in Overseer code means "YOU HELLA FUCKED UP BUT I AM RESTRAINING MYSELF FROM KILLING YOU." i made chibis of them to lessen the anger. i don't think it's working.

the coffee cups are my recent experiments at making coffee. i learned that soy and almond milk is delicious but it makes some pretty shitty latte art because of the different protein levels, also it reacts to coffee badly so i have to drink it FAST. i can only make latte art in round cups, tall glasses make me cry.

Carnaki has worked about 30+ years in Cognizant and no matter how much info he digs up about everyone (he's a really nosy bastard) he has never seen the boss even once... which is why he sticks to his theory that Omega Control is merged into a giant clusterfuck boss circle forever and dismisses all the 'stupid urban legends from LV6 Personnel'. 

Then one day on his way to the LV5 department, the surroundings became a moving blur and he sees the boss. Carnaki's mind literally became blank and of all the questions he could ask about everything he blurted out "IS THAT TEA" and the boss said "Chamomile??" then everything returned to normal. If Carnaki had legs at that moment, he would kick himself 10000000 times. If Cognizant staff were Pokemon, he rly found a shiny that day.

congratulations, my characters.. you have made it into the newspaper in a 4million dorra ad, my bossu told me this and i have no idea these things cost so much money. enjoy ur well-earned reunion dinner lmfao.

Carnaki looks decent for once and Ceter's true form is revealed on this auspicious day. happy CNY
