What an angry-looking Elf. Did she sit on one of her arrows?
"We look up at the same stars and see such different things."
x
"Aye, we do." Nerdanel had found Tauriel out in the garden, standing and just looking up at the sky. The Silvan told her the sky looked different here. She said there were different stars. Nerdanel loved the stars as any of her kind did, but what she loved more was the look on Tauriel's face as the Silvan looked up at them. Coming to her side, Nerdanel wrapped her arms around her lover, unable to draw her eyes from her. Even as she rested her forehead against Tauriel's temple, her eyelashes stroked her skin with slow blinks. Soft kisses were left on Tauriel's cheeks and Nerdanel's hand came to stroke her hair. "You look at them with young eyes," she murmured quietly. Was this what falling in love felt like? It had been so long, Nerdanel could not be sure. Was falling in love just holding someone, and never wanting to miss another moment with them? There was a warmth in the old Noldo's body that spread through her entirely as she held Tauriel, as Tauriel admired the stars. "You fall in love with them at every glance." Her lips were at her pointed ear now, her voice a whisper. "It's beautiful."
carnefindesse:
The comfort the younger had offered her had remained declined, up until the point of Tauriel stepping back a little to offer herself a moment of peace. Now Nerdanel asked for it, but the captain found no will to obey her wish, her expression sour like the taste on her palate from kisses that had been far too bitter by nature.
"I cannot give you what you want, my lady." I do not know what you mean. I do not understand what I am doing wrong to leave you lacking after my efforts.
Whatever the woodelf had tried, it had not been welcomed, so now she merely observed, vowing to remain steadfast when seduction curled around her in predatory fashion.
"Your father is more suited for this task."
Nerdanel turned away. She had expected the comfort of Tauriel. It was an assumption she took too lightly that the younger would always be there whenever Nerdanel needed her. After all, it was not often that Nerdanel turned to anyone, let alone her guest. This would be the first time she looked to Tauriel - and apparantly the last. It hurt too much. But if this was the only time she would ever dare to ask, she would not give up lightly.
"Please." The word was almost a beg. Would she have to spell it out for Tauriel, would she have to tell her word for word what she wanted? Her words were tired, but there was more emotion in them than any other words Tauriel would have heard her speak before. "Tauriel, please. I need you- just to hold me." Heavy tears began to fall from her eyes as her breathing deepend, making it difficult to see straight. "Please."

While Kili was awed by the she-elf’s agility and skills with both bow and daggers as she saved him from the spiders, he couldn’t help but wonder if she’d be just as feisty if they were to succumb on the forest floor in thrones of passion.

“Do you love me?” (carnefindesse)
The light of the sun filtered through the windows as Nerdanel rolledonto her stomach and reached for Tauriel's hand blindly. With her eyes closed, her fingers searched the bed next to her and she strayed upon the soft strands of the other's hair. She rolled the strand between her fingers lazily, too tired to speak. The other had quiet tired her out with her appetite, and the question that was murmured did not really process in her mind.
"Mmm."
Nerdanel's answer to the question was ambiguous at best. Shuffling in bed closer to her lover, she wrapped the Silvan into her arms and kissed her neck, not even sure what she would enjoy for breakfast, let alone anything more significant.
"I surrender who I've been for who you are."
Nerdanel let out a short laugh and turned away. The Silvan attempted again and again to guilt Nerdanel, it seemed, into giving more than she ever could to her. It wore Nerdanel's nerves thin, probably as much as her lack of commitment did Tauriel.
"Lie to yourself all you desire, but do not lie to me," she told her shortly. "You have sacrificed nothing for me. As for who I am, your constant pleas and demands and ultimatums make it obvious you wish to change my very nature. I am tired, Tauriel, I am tired of you taking more than I want to give."
