JYNX: “Well, there’s me and Rascal, the prank duo of the studio. If we’re not pulling pranks on the employees, we’re usually playing video games. Topaz is a good friend of mine, too. She’s got a hobby of collecting gemstones, and her collection is pretty amazing! Sera is pretty talented with magic, but she still has a bit of training left, if I recall correctly. And Barrett plays lead guitar in his own band, which is awesome!”

RASCAL: “What about the detective guy?”

JYNX: “Howles? I dunno much about him, except that he’s a detective... and a little strange. Mr. Martin seems to trust him, though, so he’s not a bad guy!”

Carnival Studio Cast: The Cartoon Stars

This is the line-up / reference sheet for all six cartoon characters. There are a few notes to keep in mind:

> Jynx and Topaz are 3′ 6″ in height > Barrett and Howles are 6′ 0″ in height > Rascal is 3′ 10″ in height > Sera is 5′ 8″ in height

Yoooo so I've got a question. How did Sera start using or learning to use magic? Has she always been able to do it?

SERA: “Sometimes, we might train with other spellcasters. I, myself, left home and moved to Festival Metro to live with my aunt and cousin at age twelve. In my training, I found that music and singing helped with my magic-casting, so I sometimes sing to help focus on my spell-casting.”

TOPAZ: “She’s pretty good at singing, too!”

Hey Mod Blue, am I Right in assuming you will at some point get into detail about how the Toons came to the Real World?

I do intend to shed some light on how the toons appeared in the real world, though I’m still deciding if it’ll be in comic or written format...

There are a couple of things to keep in mind:

1.) Out of the six, Howles did not appear with the rest of the toons. In fact, he didn’t meet them until MUCH later.

2.) The toons did not require any special tools or processes to enter the real world on their first trip; it was purely on accident.

Hopefully, by the end of this month or sometime early next month, I’ll cover the story of the toons’ first real-world encounter.

what's the carnival thing about?

The “Carnival” in Carnival Studios is meant to refer to the crazy shenanigans that happen in the studio (cartoon characters causing mischief, for example). It can also refer to the cartoon cast itself as being like carnival performers. For example, Sera being a magician, and Jynx and Rascal acting similar clowns or entertainers.

Carnivals often bring amusement and joy to those that attend, and often times cartoons are made for entertainment and good laughter. Therefore, I felt naming it Carnival Studios seemed like a perfect fit.
