Final update: it's finished,and I could not be happier with it 🥰😍🥰! I added a little more embroidery on the sides, and finished it with a very simple crochet thread border. Onto the next, right away!

Embroidery update 🥰 - looking very nice, considering I've been adding the pieces as I went along, without a predesigned plan. That is my favourite way to work!
Tech details: very old Aida cloth, mixture of vintage and new cotton threads, two of them variegated in reds, 42 x 35 cms. All patterns from 19th century embroidery books.

I really should be grateful for AI – every single day without fail, it reminds me how amazing the power of my crafty hands is. AI it's so dumb that it makes me feel really, really smart, and such an amazing artist. I don't hate it because honestly, I find it so mediocre and boring, that I barely pay any attention to it, except to be reminded of how UNBEATABLE human creativity is. And, the more the ads try to convince you of how useful it is, the more you should hear the desperation in their voice, as this bulls**t collapses.
