Is it just me or does anyone else think it’s weird that NOBODY in pelican town has some recollection or something of the farmer? Like ur treated as a total stranger by everyone but like realistically we probably went to trips to pelican town to spend time with grandpa right? Like some characters like Mayor Lewis, Robin, Demetrius, Sebastian, Maru, Caroline, Pierre, Abigail, Jodi, Kent, Sam they’ve lived there a lot of their lives some of them all their lives so they probably met the farmer when they were a child! You know what would be interesting in a fanfic? Having a farmer who is trans and the people in pelican town reacting to the, being different from when they knew them as a child I’m actually writing something like that it’s just 4 me tho. So in conclusion I think that pelican should remember the farmer to some extent but that’s just what I think.
perhaps a cold take but i will die on this hill: it's more interesting if the Wizard's daughter is Caroline, not Abigail.
reasoning:
Caroline HAS GREEN HAIR. she comments about Abigail's purple hair, but hers is also an unnatural color. could it be that hers is, in fact, also natural?
this would be more confirmation that the Wizard is at least semi-immortal, which would be cool.
Caroline has a connection to nature (tea room), and arguably makes potions if you count tea. it's the brewing tendency, at least.
maybe i'm just tired of dramatic romance stories, but the idea of Caroline being fathered by the Wizard, born away from the valley, then being drawn to move back and never losing that connection to nature magic... is SO much more compelling than "oh yeah she cheated on Pierre 🤯🤯🤯🤯"
