❝ Boy or girl? ❞ (apartments)
Carter scratched his beard as he pondered on the question. Caroline was only three months pregnant, but since the OBGYN talked about learning the sex of the baby next time they’re at the office, this exact question has been on his mind. Caroline hadn’t been paying much attention to the pregnancy, not that he’s noticed anyways. He’s been trying discreetly to get her all the necessities all the while acting like it wasn’t his doing -- it’s been working very well if he can say so.
“Does it matter to you?” He redirected the question back to Caroline. He’s had time to think about this and one way or another, he has already accepted the fact that he’s going to have a kid. So whatever that kid turns out to be, as long as they’re healthy, there’s nothing more he can ask for. Deep down, Carter wished for a girl, a little girl that looks like Caroline.
“As long as the kid is healthy, it doesn’t matter to me. It’s our kid, they can be whatever the fuck they want to be.”
