I suppose I have all the right to say that Carolinus is a horrible father.

First, he was okay that some grown ass man “fell in love” with his adoptive daughter, Melisande, when she was a little girl, and then he just let her go all alone to the “human realm” to be together with Peter Dickinson, because he just “saved” the “magic”.

I don’t think it’s a good idea in general to allow your child to go to some unknown place after overprotecting them for a really long time just because they “love” someone they don’t even know well. Or am I mistaken?
