The Marool is a monstrous fish said to reside in the waters around the Shetland Islands of Scotland. It has many eyes and a flame-like fin.

The Marool is usually found in phosphorescent sea foam, also called "mareel." It enjoys watching ships capsize, and it is said that it can be heard singing during storms.
