Comfort - Feels weirdly comfortable and relaxed around Hubert, which is strange as hell. He likes listening to him talk about pretentious shit, and enthuse about nature, all of it going in one ear and out the other. He likes someone taking the time to show him nice and interesting things that have always seemed out of his grasp or irrelevant, it makes him feel valued. He thinks its cute and fun to poke at the edges of Hubert’s composure. Objectively, they should not get on. They have nothing in common, and almost entirely opposite personalities. They are not similar people in the slightest. But it’s a nice dynamic that Cherry finds himself settling into with Hubert, which-

Distress – Very uncomfortable about it as well. It’s entirely based on Hubert’s vampirism. Hubert once contacted him, asking for a hit on himself, because he’d hurt someone he loves. Cherry replays that conversation a lot when he thinks about Hubert. Very conflicted feelings that give him a tummy ache.

Guilt – About initially having accepted that job. About not following through on it. About being friends with Hubert. About feeling guilty for being friends with him. Just on and on into a dumbass spiral.
