Lili and Soowon for the ship meme (I think this could generate an interesting answer)

1. My take on their canon relationship: I really like everything about their friendship. They’re almost always fun to read together, they play off each other beautifully, and they have some lovely serious moments together as well. The “so you’re together?” jokes are getting old, though.

2. Do I ship them: I really didn’t at first, and I still mostly don’t, but the ship is starting to grow on me. If their dynamic stayed mostly the same or if it was done as a “this is only a politically marriage we don’t really like each other” thing (with all the associated tropes) then I think I would enjoy it.

3. Reasons why I do/don’t ship them: my initial reason not to ship them was I was too into Lili/Yona, and even without that ship there was the whole fact that Lili knew Suwon had killed Yona’s father, so seeing them together would feel kind of like a betrayal of friendship? But seeing her stand up for Yona when that could come back and hurt Suwon has eased my worries about that aspect.

4. Headcanon, if any: they would continue to do the “we’re not together!” thing long after they’re king and queen, it’s become such a habit. They probably do it at their wedding. 

5. How much do I ship (%): 40%
