Day 9: Birthright

The Salisbury's Excalibur in Ruth's table 🗡️

I was inspired by this art in Any Way The Wind Blows:

I love, love, love the way this turned out, despite the fact I obviously have no idea what scale is or how it works.

The plates, tiered stand, cake, and cupcake wrappers are all made out of card stock. The tiered stand and cupcake wrappers were Cricut access patterns (which I scaled down massively.) The sandwiches, scones, and macarons are made out of cardboard, felt, and hot glue. The cupcakes are made out of ribbon, beads, and hot glue. The sword is actually a little knife charm from a friend. The table is chipboard and the tablecloth is cotton from my grandma which I hand hemmed.

I really did not think I was going to pull this off in time but, with the power of a KJ Charles audiobook, I did it!
