“Shut up! I’m not cute you’re cute!”

“You say that now, but wait until you—— Nngh...”
His upper lip gave an involuntary twitch. Her touch was welcome, desired even, but a lifetime of feeling ashamed couldn’t vanish no matter how nice it felt to have her fingers in his hair. A shiver followed his spine and stopped behind his gut, where he felt several nervous knots form.
“You think my eyes are pretty...?” His breath hitched, cheeks burning so hot she was likely to feel it the closer she came. A pang of guilt momentarily ruined his joy; how could he have ever assumed that she would make fun of him? She was too kind, and she proved it with the kiss she left him.
Shoulders sagging and lips wobbling into a smile, Sanji gazed upon the blunette with something akin to heart-eyes.
“Carson-chan, you have no idea how much lighter my heart feels after hearing you say that! If it means getting to stare into your eyes more, you can look at mine all you like~”

It was rude of him to stand there and watch her struggle, but it was endearing watching her talk to herself. He didn’t blame her for feeling frustrated over the foreign-looking vegetables; had he stumbled across them for the first time, he would have joined her in her confusion. Fortunately for her, the lumpy masses in front of her were familiar to him.
“They’re like onions,” he started as he sidled up to her, “they just look different. Texture and flavor are the same.”
carson-thatcher replied to your post:
“I am certain you will. My words may be kind, but they are the whole truth. I can tell you are someone amazing… but aside from that, I had wanted to ask if you wouldn’t mind dancing with me.”
“I...” He paused, straightening his back further after he cleared his throat. It may seem like he had lots of confidence to others, but in reality, he didn’t take compliments very well. In fact, he didn’t believe in her words at all, but he didn’t want to seem rude. So he just accepted her words for what they were.
“I would be honored to dance with you.” Ace gave her a polite bow as he held out his hand for her, patiently waiting for her to accept it.
